Philippa is the founder of The Leadership Team. She has worked for 25 years in organisation and leadership development for businesses and NGOs in an international context. Philippa is a graduate of Oxford University, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK and holds a licence for psychometric testing from the British Psychological Society.
Caroline is the Managing Director of the Leadership Team Uganda. She has over 10 years experience in front line and strategic Human Resources Management. Her most recent role prior to joining the Leadership Team, was Human Resources Manager/ Specialist with John Snow Inc., an international NGOs operating in the Sub Saharan region. Caroline holds an MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster, UK, and a B.Sc. in Computer and Business Studies from Brunel University, UK.
Peter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School (Heriot-Watt University UK) and a BSc. (Hons) Software Engineering from Kingston University (UK). Peter has more than 12 years’ experience in strategy formulation, innovation and service delivery in the financial services industry with a strong understanding of the emerging convergence of the financial services and information technology sectors. Currently the Manager, Competitive Strategies with Financial Sector Deepening Uganda (FSDU), Peter draws on his Business and IT experience to facilitate improvements in national policy, market infrastructure and access channels to deliver responsive financial services to the underserved and low-income segments. He previously worked with dfcu Bank, Equity Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Rita is an advocate and governance professional. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) UK, a founding Committee member of ICSA Uganda where she serves as Vice Chairperson, trainer and consultant. Rita is an ongoing Doctoral student at Walden University (Doctorate in Business Administration, Leadership specialty) and holds an honorary Doctorate in Business Administration, Corporate Governance specialty from Common Wealth University. She has used her knowledge and exposure as an International Finance Corporation (IFC) accredited trainer, Fellow(ICSA) and MBA (Leicester University) to champion change among leaders, directors and company secretaries in Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria. She has contextualized internationally recommended best practice to the African setting offering practical training and consultancy to boards and company secretaries, across public and private sectors. Rita offers company secretarial support to The Leadership Team Uganda and Ramco International. She was a contributor to the IFC Global Secretaries Tool Kit, a handbook for Corporate Ethics and Business Integrity for State Owned Enterprises in Southern Africa(OECD) and the Governance Regulations for the Electricity Sector in Uganda.
