Philippa is the founder of The Leadership Team. She has worked for 25 years in organisation and leadership development for businesses and NGOs in an international context. Philippa is a graduate of Oxford University, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK and holds a licence for psychometric testing from the British Psychological Society.
Caroline is the Managing Director of the Leadership Team Uganda. She has over 10 years experience in front line and strategic Human Resources Management. Her most recent role prior to joining the Leadership Team, was Human Resources Manager/ Specialist with John Snow Inc., an international NGOs operating in the Sub Saharan region. Caroline holds an MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster, UK, and a B.Sc. in Computer and Business Studies from Brunel University, UK.
Edith Nsubuga - Kasekende is a Senior Human Capital Consultant at The Leadership Team. She has more than 14 years’ experience in developing HR policy as well as executing HR operations, employee engagement and performance management strategies and tactical human capital business partnering with leadership. Prior to working with The Leadership Team, Edith was the Human Resources Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Uganda. She has Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science and an Masters of an MBA from Makerere University and Makerere University Business School respectively. She is also a certified SHL International Assessor for Psychometric Personality Testing.
John Karionji is The Leadership Team’s Executive Coach and Senior Consultant. John has spent more than 25 years in senior managerial positions with different companies sustaining a track record of significantly improving the companies’ performances within a relatively short time. John joined The Leadership Team after retiring as Chief Executive Officer of ICEA General (U) Ltd and Executive Director of the ICEA Asset Management Company. He is a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance option) graduate with Honours from the University of Nairobi, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching, a Certificate in Systemic Team Coaching, as well as various International Certificates in Management, Leadership and Insurance.
Monica Tibwitta has worked with several multinational organisations including Airtel Zambia, Zain Bahrain – Middle East, Zain Nigeria, Celtel International Netherlands, Coca-Cola SABCO – Uganda, and The Coca-Cola Company – Kenya in various fields such as Supply Chain, Procurement Management: Category – Marketing, Devices & General Services, Quality Systems and Production. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Distinction in Dissertation: Improving Mobile Telecom Procurement Systems from Warwick Business School (UK), Purchasing and Supply Management from the University of South Africa and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds. (UK). Monica draws from her wide experience to support individuals seeking to grow in the different fields.
Francis Kintu is an Associate Consultant at The Leadership Team and an experienced Human Resource Specialist with over 7 years of comprehensive hands-on experience in strategic planning, performance management, recruitment and retention, change management, HR administration and research. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University, Kampala; Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Uganda Management Institute; Balanced Scorecard Professional Certificate from the Balanced Scorecard Institute, (USA); Hay Job Evaluator Training from Hay group, (South Africa).
Sandra is a Junior Associate at The Leadership Team. She is a graduate from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. She is a reliable team player with excellent project management skills and multi-tasking abilities. Sandra has over 15 years work experience working in Uganda and Kenya in both the INGO and Private Sectors in Administrative and Programme Management positions with her longest term of service being with British Council.
Caroline is a Human Resources Generalist with close to 27 years of experience working for different financial institutions in Uganda mainly Commercial Banks. She rose through the ranks to the level of Head of Human Resources for two financial institutions which made her a member of the respective Executive Committees. She is a graduate of the University of Liverpool where she obtained a Master of Science Degree in Global Human Resource Management; a holder of a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Uganda Management Institute, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University and a Certificate in Banking from the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services.
Jean is a Human Resources Business Consultant at The Leadership Team. She has over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurship, operations management, customer service, and finance in the banking, telecoms, and transportation industries. She has worked with companies like Barclays Bank Uganda, Airtel ( formerly Celtel) Uganda, Solutions Africa, and most recently as the General Manager at Blu-cruise Ltd. a Top100 SME in Uganda. She is a graduate of Makerere University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Victoria is the Finance and Administrative Assistant at The Leadership Team. She is a young graduate seeking to build her career in Finance and Administration. Victoria graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specialising in Finance. Victoria’s strength is being highly organised, a strong planner and the willingness to learn. She previously worked with an Manufacturing SME where she was part of a team that played a vital role in providing efficient accounting services to both internal and external clients.
